METRIS LASER SCANNING SYSTEMS

Integrated Laser Scanning Solutions

Laser scanning enables complete modeling and inspection of parts with complex freeform surfaces or features. Laser scanning is a non-contact technology suited for measuring flexible or fragile materials, which often present severe challenges for touch probes due to the risk of indentations or surface scratches.

In today's inspection processes there is the ever-increasing demand for inspecting more and often smaller objects with higher accuracy.
Due to the smaller field of view, the LC15 guarantees the accuracy and point density needed for small and detailed parts with tight tolerances.

The LC50 laser scanner picks up 19,200 points every second. The Metris LC50 probe is mounted on a Renishaw PH10M and transforming the 3-axis mechanical CMM into a 5 axis optical digitizing device.

The XC50 Cross Scanner is a revolutionary new solution for feature measurement. The Cross Scanner is a patented high-speed, multi-stripe laser sensor that enables more efficient scanning of features such as holes, slots and gap & step that are typically inspected in automotive applications.

The ModelMaker Z provides highly affordable handheld scanning with industry accepted functionality and performance, and is supplied with KUBE software for scanning, data processing, meshing and mesh processing. With three sensors in the range and scanning at over 23,000 points per second, you can get the right solution for your application.

The ModelMaker D, featuring True Digital Camera Technology, is a leap forward in 3D laser scanning technology including several groundbreaking innovations that have never previously been available on any laser scanner.

In June 2005 the RCA project was announced, a development of the world's first Robotic CMM Arm. The Robot CMM Arm is both automated and portable and therefore combines the advantages of manual portable CMM arms and fixed-bed CNC CMM's.
